Jura CLEARYL Smart+ Water Filter with RFID Technology

JURA utilizes modern RFID technology to allow the filter and coffee machine to communicate. When a filter is inserted into any machine equipped with the intelligent water system (I.W.S.), it is automatically recognized, and the machine switches to filter mode, initiating the rinsing process. Once the filter capacity is almost depleted, the machine alerts the user to replace the filter. Failure to do so results in the machine activating descaling mode. Additionally, after a certain amount of use, the user is prompted to descale the machine, a process that can only be completed once the filter has been removed, minimizing the risk of user error due to misunderstandings.

The CLEARYL Smart+ from JURA revolutionizes water filtration to ensure greater hygiene in the coffee machine, starting from the water tank itself. The filter cartridge is suitable for use with mains water worldwide and continuously filters calcium carbonate to an optimum level while reducing the presence of harmful and flavor-altering substances. This results in the water being freshly filtered each time coffee is prepared, eliminating the need for descaling. Furthermore, the filter retains important fluorides which help to enhance the coffee's flavor.

When the filter capacity nears its end, the machine prompts the user to replace the filter. Failure to do so triggers the descaling mode, ensuring that the water quality remains high and the coffee maintains its aromatic flavor. The optimal stabilization of the calcium carbonate level in the water tank, coupled with effective filtration during the coffee preparation process, guarantees the highest water quality for the perfect coffee aroma.
